"MY WEEKEND RETREAT AT OXONHOATH IN KENT If you fancy a weekend in a country estate house at a bargain price of £229 including delicious food then check out this place. It really is a treat - and guarantees that you return home revitalised and refreshed! From the minute you arrive up the grand gravel drive on a Friday evening and are met by friendly staff, to the time you leave on the Sunday you will immediately feel the wonderful effects of this place. It not only offers great value for money as all the other retreat weekends I looked at were in the £500 category..but the treatments are all carried out by great therapists and teachers. Its not fluffy white towels or a luxurious spa , its quite quirky with each room differently themed and decorated. We upgraded to the one with the claw foot bath as it was our anniversary! I met so many lovely people too - a bride to be and her Mum, best friends treating each other, couples, singles, young and old - not to mention the fantastic staff who did everything to ensure we had the best weekend! You can leave in the afternoon on Sunday- we had a fantastic country walk and a delicious roast lunch (all meals are included in the cost!) and you feel as if you have been there for a week! I learnt belly dancing and tai chi and went to relaxing yoga classes which helped me to sleep the deepest for the 1st time in 10 years!! Oh and I had an excellent massage! Its good to get away from the hustle of town life and the family commitments - I would recommend this to any man or woman who wants to get away from it all! We turned off the mobiles and it was bliss with no email too!! A perfect recoup place in the country! (good hearty meals too and organic wine for sale in the shabby chic bar!) Theres an amazing Jacobean library where many magazines were read and a lot of red wine was drunk!! - This is an amazing chill out weekend, a chance to really relax! Just go!! Well worth it.. "

"I went on the retreat when I was a a very low ebb physically and emotionally following marriage breakup and 7 years of treatment for cancer. Whittlebury Hall was a wonderful place to chill out and be pampered (the reflexology was particularly good), and the sessions with Maureen helped me to start to think about positive changes I could (and would) make in the future. It wasn't cheap but I'm glad I decided to do it!"

"I chose this retreat over others because I wanted to work 1:1 to change the way that I approach my career and to find a way to a more balanced life. Maureen's approach is a very helpful one for this because of the combination of techniques that she uses, firstly to identify the source of the particular behviour/attitude and then to apply very efficient techniques to help to break the pattern. Maureen has great insight and is committed to helping you to make a positive change. "
