Barton Court: Retreat, SPA

Barton Court SPA has been sympathetically renovated from a range of traditional 13th Century farm buildings, many of the original stone and exposed beam features have been maintained. Barton Court is set in some 6 acres of landscaped gardens including orchards, a wood and spring fed stream, an ideal location to chill out with nature and enjoy the stunning views over the Devon country side.
Barton Court is located on the outskirts of the village of Buckland Brewer which is approximately 6 miles south of the ancient port town of Bideford.

Each of the four luxury cottages has its own unique character: be it THE STUDIO with its feature cast iron spiral staircase, private patio with hot tub, super king sized bed, up-side-down lounge, bedroom and en-suite (downstairs) and kitchen / dining area (upstairs). OWLS\' HOLLOW with its private hot tub and feature king size four-poster bed. Or the more traditional BRAMBLE COTTAGE, which offers a very cosy feel with original 13Century timbers and cobbled floor in the entrance hall. The largest cottage, MEADOWSWEET BARN, has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the front garden providing a light airy feel.

The SPA complex offers an ideal environment to chill-out and enjoy the relaxed environment, whilst sampling some of the extensive range of Complementary and Holistic Treatments on offer. For the more energetic individuals the gym offers: cardiovascular and resistance workouts, you can chose to do as little or as much as you want under the watchful eye of our personal trainer. Fitness and nutrition programmes can be developed giving you a personal programme to take away with you.
