A variety of easily accessible outdoor/countryside activities are also located nearby. All our shamanic therapies aim to help you find perfect balance and perfect attunement; by teaching you ancient indigenous methods of how to walk with beauty and rightness in every step and every breath you take - we call this ‘Hozho', and we wish you the ability to find it and live it!

Bodhisattva Centre is a residential Buddhist College in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Bodhisattva Centre is a 40 bedroom Grade II listed building, set in nearly two acres of grounds. We offer guided beginners meditation retreats, longer retreats during January, as well as comfortable accommodation if you simply wish to have a relaxing break in Brighton. The meditation room is stunning and houses a gilded 8 foot Buddha statue. Retreats are guided by qualified Buddhist monks and nuns. All meals are provided during the retreat and are vegetarian and home cooked. Single, twin and dorm accommodation is available.

The evenings are a feast of local produce shared not just with fellow retreaters but local poets, authors or artists, and perhaps even a firepit under a starry Sussex sky if the weather allows. Bell tent accommodation around a summer camp fire heightens the rural experience, or stay in the main house when the nights draw in.

Only an hour from London & 20 mins from Brighton, Tilton House is set in six acres of grounds with mature trees, a tennis court and a fire-pit for stargazing. In addition, there is sumptuous accomodation for 18 and delicious vegetarian food with an international flavour for both residential courses and day workshops. Tilton House also offers B&B accomodation. It's an idyllic place to retreat to and nurture.
