Detox and Cleansing Retreats Our Simple 5-DAY 5-Organ Detox and Cleansing Retreat is a gentle and effective way to restore power back to your own body, especially when repeated every solstice and equinox. Ancient Maori Healing Massage "Life is supposed to be wonderful not Wandering". Incredible and Amazing, Atarangi and Manue are powerful Maori healers that use an ancient indigenous Maori technique to listen to the pain inside our bodies. Every year the ‘Hozho Foundation' will host the Maori, Chinese or Thai Massage Healers at our Sanctuary. Whether our pain manifests physically or mentally it is the response to all of our experiences. Their unique practices are effective in removing all kinds of pain, stress and emotional toxins that have been present in the body since childhood. 1hr Sessions start from £75-100. 2012 North Star Shamanic Healing Gatherings From the 19th - 28th July, the first ‘2012 Northstahr Shamanic Healing Gathering Retreat' will take place in sacred woodlands of Kent. Organised by world renowned Medicine Woman and Shaman, Rain Queen Mother POONAA; this gathering is being held to honour and promote humanity's return back to living ‘the way of our Nature Loving Ancestors'. We are inviting Elders and Shamans from all over the world (including Mayan, Incan, African, Asian and Aboriginal) to give counsel on the 2012 Stahr-Gate that will happen to the EARTH, as foretold by the Mayan Calendar; and to perform their ancient healing ceremonies to help us transform. Tibetan Buddhist/Bon Puja Retreats "The Hozho Foundation" supports the preservation of Tibetan Monastic culture by encouraging people to book healing Pujas and help raise funds for Tibetan Monastries in Tibet/Nepal. Pujas are devotional acts of honor made to Buddhist/Bon Deities, and are performed by 50-or-so Monks of the Samtenling Monastry in Kathmandu. The Monks chant and make offerings all day on your behalf, during which time you can meditate at our Healing Sanctuary or in your own home. Puja Retreats take 1/2/5 days. We are currently taking bookings for the following: Purification Pujas for cleansing your mind, Obstacle Removal Puja for removing bad luck; Long Life and Medicine Puja for prolonged good health and Mallom Puja for those who have recently passed away.

"I had a wonderful relaxing weekend stay at the Wellbeing Sanctuary and would recommend it to everyone who cares about their health and needs to recharge their batteries. It is a very personal retreat and I was deeply surprised by the immediate calming atmosphere - I felt like I was inside a cloud! On the first day as part of the weekend package I had booked, I had a herbal shower followed by a long deep pressure body massage in the private treatment room, with a herbal foot soak and foot massage. This was exactly what I needed as I had had a particulary stressful week at work! I later had a herbal consultation which was deeply intuitive beyond anything I have experienced before and was prescribed a range of herbal remedies from all over the world which were beautifully packaged in hand crafted materials. I was told the unique packaging was to encourage commitment to the herbal remedy and promote recycling - the explanation was fascinating to hear. I was also advised to undergo a specific liver detox later in September and was able to purchase a unique herbal detox kit which I took home and can't wait to start. The inside of the wellbeing sanctuary was so peaceful that I was able to fully relax on the first day, meditating, deep breathing and stretching and watching spiritual DVDs. Also the design of the accommodation is such that I could just sit and every now and again notice another lovely calming detail within the decor. I must also mention the beautiful display of herbal teas and the store of wholefoods which came in handy on my first night. The next day I went on an ancient woodland and wildflower meadow trail. The whole experience really was a 'sanctuary' from the hustle and bustle of my every day life. Will I go back for more? Definitely! and next time I plan to take a couple of friends for one of their shamanic cleansing and healing retreats which I am told will be a life changing experience - can't wait."
