Meditation and mindfulness have been known to have positive benefits for both mental and physical health for many years. The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programme originated with Jon Kabat-Zinn has much research supporting its efficacy with many medical and emotional conditions as well as just plain improved quality of life and relationships. Counselling and Neuro Linguistic Programming ( NLP) are immensely complementary to meditative practices and these approaches are combined in our weekend programmes.
