Here in this 17th Century house set in four acres of tranquil gardens amidst the beautiful South Somerset Countryside, the Centre teaches Pure Meditation and a full course programme for those seeking self development. PURE MEDITATION is of ancient lineage yet refreshingly of \"the now\". It is based on the highest essentials of all Yoga particularly Raja and Kriya Yoga, and it is beautiful and true. From the moment I arrived at the Centre I felt very loved and cared for, the family were very welcoming, and my needs were very much catered for. The setting is lovely with beautiful gardens to sit and relax in and let go of the hurly burly that everyday life seems to contain. The Self Realization Meditation Healing Centre is here to serve the needs of all people, of all races, backgrounds, beliefs, and for all levels of need. The Centre was brought into being by Mata Yogananda Mahasaya Dharma and her husband Peter Sevananda. We also offer INDIVIDUALLY-TAILORED RETREATS throughout the year in this peaceful and nurturing environment. Natural Spiritual Healing, Progressive Counselling and Spiritual Guidance are available. We have a therapy pool where you can swim or join an Aqua-yoga class; or you may wish to join a Transformation Hatha Yoga class. All who come are touched by the love and care they receive. We serve home-made and organically grown (where possible) vegetarian food; special diets catered for. We also offer silent retreats: Summer (June 26-28), Autumn (Oct 30-Nov 1) and Christmas (Dec 24-27), as well as a New Year Celebration Retreat (Dec 29-Jan 1)
PROGRESSIVE COUNSELLING PROFESSIONAL TRAINING COURSE (To Dip PCouns Qualification) This training gives the opportunity to take counselling/coaching and Self Development to a highly advanced level. It is for those who wish to help themselves and others effect positive and life enhancing changes: to assist their individual growth and personal development in every way. Students may develop a Progressive Counselling practice, take the Progressive Counselling/Coaching skills and way of life into their work or take the course as part of a personal Self Development programme. NATURAL SPIRITUAL HEALING PROFESSIONAL TRAINING COURSE (to Dip.NSpH. qualification) Heal Yourself ~ Help to Heal others. This course is divided into separate graded modules, consisting of five weeks over approximately 24 months, including an independent assessment. Individual guidance for students is an important part of the course structure, to bring forward and nurture their development. We recommend that students come for regular Healing Refreshers to aid their development. Advanced Healing courses are held to further develop skills, and are offered to students who have reached a level of proficiency in their Healing Practice. Please contact us for further details. TRANSFORMATION HATHA YOGA TEACHER TRAINING This professional Diploma Course is accredited worldwide and is taught under the supervision of a senior trainer, who is a Recognised Teacher of the British Wheel of Yoga, the governing body for Yoga in the UK, and a member of The Register of Exercise Professionals.
