General InfoEnjoying a weekend away is precious. A refreshing break that enlivens every part of you, however, is something you can treasure way beyond your return home.
Our weekends include both residential retreats and our annual Tai Chi camp, all run at beautiful places in Devon and Somerset. Somehow Devon and Somerset go well with Tai Chi and Qigong - fresh air equals fresh Qi and fresh Qi equals health and vitality.
Our teachers have been hosting weekends for years and you are always guaranteed a warm welcome. There is no pressure to learn, no judgement, just places to be and discover the full benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong.
Tai Chi Weekend Retreats at Sharpham, South Devon Sharpham House is full of character and beauty. A Palladian style house commissioned in the last years of the 18th century, it is a grand but rambling house set in a 300 acre estate. With awesome views and over 30 rooms (great for a game of hide and seek!) you can get lost in the gentle ambience and will wake up in awe of the unspoilt feel of your surroundings.

On this relaxing and laid back weekend we will be chilling out with quotes from Winnie whilst learning or deepening our understanding of Tai Chi and Qigong. Learning how to "be" within the flow of Tai Chi is a priceless gift we can give ourselves and this special weekend will give us the experience to make such a gift our own.

All our retreats begin from 5pm on the Friday and finish on the Sunday at 3.30pm and include about 9-10 hours of workshops. The welcome meeting is usually at 6.30pm. If you arrive later, that is fine. We will send you full information to help you with travel, when you book, along with everything else you need to know. The venue is quite breathtaking and I really enjoyed being there. Not a hotel but more of a special, unadulterated ornate mansion. The food was good - really healthy and tasty veggie fayre. "
