DHANAKOSA Buddhist Retreat Centre
DHANAKOSA offers a wide range of retreats including Yoga, Hillwalking, Tai Chi, Arts and Alternative Health themes, all complementing a program of introductory meditation teaching; these retreats are open to anyone.
In addition to this there is a program of more intensive meditation retreats and retreats specifically designed to help people develop their practice of Buddhism. Dhanakosa is set in its own 16 acre grounds situated on the tranquil shores of Loch Voil in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Only one and a half hours drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow Dhanakosa is easily accessible by public transport.

Ocean Retreat

We offer a relaxing and rejuvinating experience on the West Coast of Scotland. Set overlooking the loch, you will enjoy a daily complementary health therapy, yoga or pilates session, meditation classes, and an instructional class from making your own beauty products to how therapy works- not forgetting our wonderful cuisine.
Nutritious Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, all beverages, and all therapies and classes are included.
Some single and some shared rooms. Small groups max 8.
A full consultation is taken before any therapies are given and special diets can be catered for.
