YOU ARE HERE: Holistic retreats / UK & Ireland / Wales / Snowdonia / Ynys Pandy
A 19th Century Farmhouse on the border of Snowdonia, between the mountains and the sea, secluded but not remote.
Our guests comment on how peaceful it is here in the hills, looking into the Snowdonia range. Little traffic, tractors, horses, the odd bike, but close to a huge range of things to do and places to see. Be busy doing nothing or be nothing but busy! The farmhouse is cosily furnished, very well equipped with loads of character. It sleeps 8 people plus a baby, so is an ideal bolthole for families (and pets) seeking a home from home. You will be welcomed with welsh cakes and tea and then your time is yours to do as you please!

Eco-friendliness: Ynys Pandy has solar water heating, so the sparkling bathroom and the homely kitchen place as little demand on the environment as possible although we seek to constantly upgrade. The South facing conservatory, as well as being an ideal spot to relax with a book or binoculars adds a huge quantity of heat at the slightest hint of Sun. At night, the low energy bulbs and wood burning stove do their bit to reduce your energy demand. And the 14 hectares of privacy around you are managed to the best environmental practices. We hold a Green Dragon Level 2 Award.
