There are many instances in life when you feel you need more than your holiday being just a change of scenery. At Retreat au Chateau we have created a number of specialist experiences aimed to ensure your relaxation and total recharge of the mind, body and soul. Choose or create your Retreat from ten different retreats available, all year round, ranging from 'The Soul Experience' for £895 per couple to 'Totally Holistic Week' for £1195 per couple to 'The Ultimate Escape' for £1595 per couple, including an abundance of therapies and yoga as well as sumptuous accommodation. To ‘indulge' means ‘to yield to the wishes of' or ‘to pamper'. This unique package has been designed to do just that! We will support you and yield to the wishes of the inner-self through a week of pampering and being taken care of. This is a revitalising escape from your normal stressful environment, designed to promote self-healing, inner peace and a profound sense of relaxation and wellbeing.

Accommodation
Retreat au Chateau is set in 'The Grange' which is truly impressive with the full use of the Chateau's formal gardens and grounds. The chateau itself is 15th Century, privately owned by an art collector and fascinating academic. The gardens and grounds are a museum in themselves and splendidly show the sculptures surrounding the chateau.

Retreat au Chateau offers a choice of accommodation, individual cottages including 'The Library' which is simply delightful, furnished with beautiful antique furniture and wall to wall books of every topic you can dream of, and 'The Artist's Studio' which is an inspiration, utilised by many well known artists to create their own masterpieces and shared accommodation in 'The Gallery' which is truly breathtaking, where you can admire the abundance of art and sculpture collected from all over the world.

Gardens & Grounds
Set in wonderful mature gardens with breathtaking views of the Pyrenees, Retreat au Chateau provides a secret piece of inner sanctuary for you to totally relax and unwind. There are an abundance of mature trees providing much welcomed aromatic shade in the midday sun, so curl up with a throw, some cushions, a glass of wine and read or siesta in comfort. The retreat garden is secluded and privately hidden behind electric gates providing the ultimate relaxing holiday escape.

Locality
Retreat au Chateau is set in a bewitchingly beautiful area of south west France. The wide Atlantic sandy beaches are an hour away as are the most popular ski resorts of the Pyrenees. The famous pilgrimage centre of Lourdes, the chic city of Pau and the Haras centre of Tarbes are a twenty to thirty minute drive away creating for you a wonderful base to explore. Come and relax in the rural calm with green hills, sleepy villages, deep forests as well as enjoy the bustle of busy local market towns, cafes, bars and restaurants which are situated all close by.

Private Hire of the Retreat
Utilise Retreat au Chateau for your private, corporate or individual requirements. You may take full advantage of the therapies and treatments available for you and your group. Organised outings to the mountains, beaches, golf courses, vineyards and surrounding areas can be arranged. We cater for 1-10 adults with private cottages and shared accommodation at the retreat which can increase to a capacity of 16 with further cottages in the village.
