Customer ‘s Gift Voucher Instructions
1) Search for retreat on www.theretreatcompany.com.
2) Once you have found the retreat you are interested in check that ‘gift vouchers’ can be used with the retreat you are looking at. A gift voucher icon with be displayed against on the retreat page. Note: Gift Vouchers can only be redeemed against active pages on The Retreat Company website at the time of booking.
3) For further details or to use your voucher please make an enquiry via the holiday page. Please remember to add the voucher code into the relevant box when you
make your enquiry, this will let the operator know that you have a voucher and to deduct the value of the voucher from your booking.
4) Book the retreat as normal with the retreat provider, ensuring that the operator is aware of your voucher at the time of booking. Vouchers cannot be redeemed during your stay unless previously agreed with the retreat provider. The value of the voucher can then be deducted from the cost of the retreat.
5) By booking a retreat with the retreat organised you agree to abide by their terms and conditions.
NOTE: Please note that no change is by the Retreat Company per Gift Voucher purchased. If you are unsure how the voucher gifted to someone might be spent it might be better, for example, if you wanted to gift someone £200 worth of vouchers to request them in small increments, minimum £50, as they can be redeemed one at a time or all at once.
The Retreat Company Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions
It is your responsibility, or that of person gifted The Retreat Company Voucher to ensure that the retreat provider that you book with has been given your unique voucher code, your name and the amount to be redeemed. Please make the retreat provider aware of this at the time of booking. Without the voucher code details the retreat provider will not be able to apply your voucher discount to a retreat product or service.
Vouchers can only be used against retreats, workshops or accommodations marked as eligible with a Gift Voucher icon. They will be clearly marked on the retreat or event page. If there is no Gift Voucher icon displayed on the retreat provider’s page then vouchers cannot be used against this retreat.
Gift Vouchers cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed.
Gift Vouchers can only be redeemed against active pages on The Retreat Company website at the time of booking.
Vouchers are non-refundable and non-exchangeable after an 8 day cooling off period from the date of purchase.
Customers have the right to return any voucher or card purchased from The Retreat Company within 14 working days of original receipt for a full refund. The Retreat Company is unable, however, to process returns or reimburse any payment transactions outside of this period. We are unable to process returns or reimburse any payment transactions supplied by other third parties, subject to the customers’ statutory rights which remain unaffected. Please also note that once an appointment has been made with you the retreat provider, the customer is bound by your terms and conditions of booking. We will refund the amount paid for the returned goods to the person who purchased the voucher and the monies will be refunded directly to the credit/debit card used for the purchase. All refunds will be paid within 30 days of notification of cancellation and receipt of the original voucher. To request a refund the customer must return your voucher via recorded delivery to The Retreat Company, Gaulby Road, Kings Norton, Leicestershire LE7 9BA UK, along with a covering letter detailing the reason for their refund request.
Your voucher must be used by the expiry date given. Vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date purchased.
We regret we cannot accept liability for cancellations, changes or delays caused by any events which we, or the supplier of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, technical problems to transport, closure or congestion at airports. We also accept no liability for client’s mental or physical conditions, which may develop during or subsequent to the holiday, loss of, or damage to personal property. Customers will agree terms and conditions of the retreat provider at the time of booking.
The Retreat Company, regrets we cannot accept liability if you the purchaser or person that has been gifted a Retreat Company voucher, is removed from retreat environment because of incidents causing distress, danger, or damage to any other guest, staff, property or the group as a whole. We will be under no obligation whatsoever for any costs incurred or give refunds for voucher amounts.
Please note that The Retreat Company does not claim that holidays and retreats where Vouchers are redeemed are originated by The Retreat Company on any of their promotional and advertising portals. The Retreat Company acts purely and solely as Voucher administrator for both parties and on behalf of both parties.
The purchase of a Retreat Company Gift Voucher constitutes acceptance of our Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions.
