Nestled in the foothills of the Pyrenees (Pau just 10mins), here at Loustalot we offer tailored retreats to suit your needs and budget. A peaceful and healing environment with accommodation in charming Barn (see website for photos). Privacy ensured but loving, professional support is here for you if needed; we personally offer sessions in meditation/yoga/healing/energy care and have a beautiful dedicated meditation/yoga room on site. Please get in touch with any questions and, if you wish, we can put together a provisional programme with you to help you find or keep your balance and move forward positively. Jacqueline and Anthony.

Eco Practices

We do all that we can to respect the beautiful natural environment which we are in. The Dharma Room (yoga/meditation studio) has water partially heated by solar panels as well as a compost toilet. Loustalot has over three hectares of organic land including woodland and stream for you to enjoy.

Disabled Facilities

The retreat accommodation in the Barn is all on one floor (it is built into the hillside so whilst its seems to be on the first floor, access is direct from the garden. If mobility is limited then sessions can take place in your accommodation so that you don't have to move about. However, we are in the foothills of the Pyrenees so the terrain is sloping and unsuitable for wheelchairs.

Opening Times and Prices

We are open all year. For an individual on retreat prices start at 67€ a night for the retreat apartment. Costs then vary according to the options you select and the number of people booking together. You may chose to cater for yourself or to have some or all meals (organic, vegetarian). Retreats can be booked for one or two people, or a group of up to 4/5 if booking together. If you are on a low budget we may have alternative accommodation available at some times. Please email or call to speak to Jacqueline or Anthony for details.

Travel Information

Having a busy lifestyle and job, coupled with some stress related issues, the stay with Jacqueline and Anthony was amazing. We couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome and the accommodation and location were so relaxing and stunning. We opted for a combination of yoga, meditation and healing – all of which were explained carefully, you are encouraged to work at your own pace and develop tools to help you continue what you have learned at home.

I have to say I completely feel the benefit of all the treatments and since my return have managed to put what I have learnt to good use, which is helping massively with stress and anxiety.

Thanks Jacqueline and Anthony for a wonderful holiday and for all your kind words and encouragement. I look forward to returning again in the future.

We had a wonderfully relaxing break, enabling us to learn new things and take those tools away with us, improving our own lives and wellbeing. The accommodation is first class and little touches like fresh flowers in all the rooms made it very welcoming. The organic, vegetarian meals were delicious and one less thing to worry about. We were two friends together but you could do this on your own as although you have peace and seclusion, help and assistance isn’t far away. The privacy and one to one tuition was great as we could go at our own pace and tailor it as we went – no fixed timings or making allowances for other people. We specifically chose this as we didn’t want to go on a group holiday and be beholden to others. We had a very calm and tranquil break in beautiful surroundings, organised by people who really care and felt rested and calm by the time we left. You could drive or fly there but we got the Eurostar to Paris and then the TGV to Pau and we definitely recommend going by train, a much more chilled out way to travel.
