Wild View Retreat is defined by it’s spectacular uninterrupted 360° views of the Serra do Caldeirão mountains. Originally built by a Portuguese Army General in 1898, the ‘Manor House’ and surrounding buildings have undergone a 1.5 year restoration and redevelopment project, transforming the iconic setting into a bespoke wellness retreat. On the retreat guests will be away from the pressures of modern society, isolated in nature embarking on a programme of detoxification, wellness and fitness, working towards restoring health and balance in their lives. What to expect? Yoga, fitness classes, expert nutritious meals or juice fasting, nutritional therapy, guided walks, massage, gentle meditation, swimming, sunbathing and… relaxing.

The hilltop village of Corgas Bravas rests just off the N2 - one of the oldest roads to be built in Portugal. This quiet and peaceful area boasts uninterrupted views for as far as the eye can see and is renowned for it’s many varieties of birds.

Serra do Caldeirão Mountains
Wild View Retreat is defined by its spectacular uninterrupted 360° views of the Serra do Caldeirão mountains, a Zona De Intervenção Florestal protected for its natural beauty and famous Portuguese cortiça (cork) trees.
This is the panoramic view from the Manor House. When guests arrive they simple switch off, reset and relax and take it all in. There are no neighbours, no cars, no buildings for as far as the eye can see. Only the sound of the silence, wind and birds.
During the renovation Wild View Retreat adhered to a Zero Construction Waste Policy reusing all the original bricks, terracotta tiles, blocks from the original building, preventing all inert material going to land fill and have installed a brand new 15 KW solar system, 32 panels to provide power for the retreat and ensure self sufficiency.
