5 Day Luxury Yoga Retreat in majestic Tinos Island

A remedy for the body and the soul

The yoga shala
The yoga shala

Description

We will explore, physically and mentally, the qualities and values embodied by Hindu Gods, through stories, asanas, and mantras. Each god represents one of our unlimited aspects: love, jealousy, anger, devotion, persistence, patience. Gods will quit their ideal society and blend with people, fall in love, fight, become protagonists in heroic achievements and battle evil. Ganesha, Hanuman, Krishna and Shiva will address our dilemmas and guide our hearts beyond the limits of mind and logic.
This retreat can host up to 14 guests and is for anyone interested in yoga (all levels) and passionate about storytelling. Each day features two yoga sessions in our majestic shala overlooking the Aegean Sea, nourishing meals rooted in tradition and activities to discover the island's heritage.

Eco Practices

We believe in doing our share of work to make this world a better place and are committed to making meaningful actions. We are mindful of our water consumption and kindly ask our guests to do the same.
Everything in our seasonal menu is of Greek origin. In every retreat you will find dishes well-rooted in tradition by local cooks with the aromas of hand-gathered herbs shining through them. In an effort to minimise our footprint we are serving only vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Directions and Travel

Tinos is a small Cycladic island with rich history and cultural heritage. Enchanting yet still unknown to many travellers, the island preserves its unspoiled architecture and nature. The retreat is held in a magnificent villa complex. The house itself welcomes you, invites you in like an old friend. Beautiful spaces with soft lines wherever the eyes rest, the perfect balance of traditional warmth and polished comfort. Tinos can be reached via ferry from Athens or Mykonos, where the closest international airport is located. The island is connected to Athens’ two main ports, Piraeus and Rafina. From Athens, the ride can last from 2 to 5 hours depending to the preferred ferry or port. From Mykonos the ferry ride is only 30 minutes.
