Recharge with Yoga and Self-Care Practices, meet the rescued elephants of Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary, wake up to the sounds of the jungle
This self-care retreat is suitable for anyone wanting to take time for themselves while also contributing to a great cause. Yoga classes (Flow & Yin), breathwork sessions, meditation, self-care practices, self-reflection as well as exchange and connection with others are important aspects of this week. We want to set impulses and create space for new ideas. We want to take time to listen to ourselves, to identify blind spots and destructive thought patterns, and to step into our full potential. On top of all that you get to spend time at Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary, practice Yoga near rescued elephants, and learn about the residents there.
This retreat is a cooperation beween Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary & Lion’s Journey.
Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary is a home to rescued elephants, including Kaavan, formally known as the World's Loneliest Elephant, who was rescued from a Pakistan zoo with the help of Cher. Our two other elephants were rescued from a life of logging.
CWS is also home to over 40 rescued monkeys living in a 16acre jungle shelter. Our other rescues include a gibbon, some geese, ducks and chickens, some cats and dogs and Fluffy, the pig.
A sanctuary spanning 32000 acres we also have a huge variety of native wildlife.
