Are you wondering about your purpose in life? Would you like to better understand how you fit into the world, and how you can contribute to making it a better place?
Designed and led by an experienced psychologist and change specialist, Mind Environment is an immersive personal development programme that takes place in Bardou, a remote 16th Century mountain village in Southern France that’s a world of its own, free from modern distractions.
Over the course of four days and nights of pared back mountain living, and through a combination of facilitated group discussions and outdoor activities, the programme takes you on a journey of deep exploration into your purpose, and supports you to develop a purpose plan that you can put into action when you return home.
To find out more, visit our website, or join us at our London open evening on Wednesday 24th June. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the open evening may be held online.
Bardou is an eco-friendly stone village nestled between two mountain ridges where water is gathered from two natural sources which feed the communal showers and flushing toilets in the centre of the village. A number of earth closet toilets are also located on the edge of the village.
Abandoned not long after the First World War, Bardou was re-discovered in 1967, and since then, the village has been gradually restored by family and friends, whose communal purpose lives on. While there is now electricity and water piped off the mountainside, much of the Bardou infrastructure has changed little since the 16th Century, meaning facilities are comfortable, but pared back.
