Description

A long weekend guaranteed to soothe your nerves and to nurture your soul ! For the seasoned Tai Chi, Qigong practitioner or the complete beginner. The teachers Mark Collins and Jeff Docherty have successfully run this Retreat Annually for the past 8 years, having over 35 years teaching experience between them.
A Full 2 days of Tai Chi, Qigong and Meditation practices with also some Bodywork. 2 days Full Board Accommodation with own bedroom. 2 Full days of wholesome nutritious food vegetarian and mostly organic and grown on-site, lovingly prepared by the small resident community. Group walks in the beautiful woods, fields and gardens.
Campfires in the evening in the grounds in front of the house, with varied entertainment, readings, poems and live acoustic music.

Accessibility

The main East (side) garden, practice room and dining room are accessible, although the bedrooms are not, being up several flights of stairs. This does leave the possibility of day attendance or camping.

Directions and Travel

Braziers Park is situated within the Chiltern Hills, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of the village of Ipsden and close to the town of Wallingford. To the north lies Oxford and to the south, Reading. Postcode: OX10 6AN. There is a bus stop 5 minutes away and the best train station is Reading (approx 30 minutes by bus). We encourage visitors to use public transport, car sharing and liftshare.co.uk if possible. Please observe our 5mph speed limit and park considerately. By Car: From London: Leave M4 at Junction 8/9. Proceed to Henley and then on through Nettlebed to the CROWMARSH ROUNDABOUT (A4130). Turn left onto the A4074 towards Reading. Ignore 2 left turns signposted Ipsden, the next left turn at the bottom of a hill a few seconds later is for Braziers.
