In this course, we shall explore the use of the healing voice in shamanic practice, learning how to reach the depths by using toning and singing. We will be exploring the keening tradition, to express grief and clear our energetic bodies. Much of our work is based upon the three musical strains or modes of ancient Ireland: the grief strain, the laugh strain, and the sleep strain. We will also consider the traditional gifts of the three cauldrons, which are the subtle soul containers in Irish lore.
This course is open to people who are fluent in shamanic journeying or who use their voice as an instrument for healing.
