This weekend well-being retreat includes mindfulness practices and gentle yoga with the aim of increasing the feeling of well-being, relaxation and rejuvenation.
Glenthorne Quaker Guest House and Conference Centre is a perfect venue to enrich your experience, in the beautiful setting of Grasmere, in the Lake District.
There will be some silent practices on this retreat and so it is advised that participants should have some experience of meditation although it is not necessary to have any experience of yoga. Through experiential learning, you will deepen your meditation practice and move closer towards stillness and a sense of calm.
Although here will be some sitting meditations, we will also carry out some movement exercises outdoors, so please bring suitable clothing!
