Description

Wild Women Retreats run events for all ages, faiths, bodies, and lives - and our Summer Village is a great place to meet us. It’s an uplifting offering of good food & fire; open-hearted company; ritual, creativity, and beach-time.
With a circle of real-people and a programme rich with connection; expect a diverse community where you can feel truly welcome; to laugh, cry, swim, sew, sing, sit-quietly or howwl at the moon...
This event is non-residential, so you can choose your preferred accommodation with nearby options from camping to hotel - or even travel from home each day.
“Like a harp to my heart, making it sing and sing, filling my soul up with beautiful golden light until it overflowed... I’m still glowing inside and out”
"A special place that has changed my life"

Accessibility

Please get in touch and talk to us if you have an impairment or disability and you're wondering if this event is suited to your requirements.
We love to accommodate people whatever their needs and we always to our best to take difference into account; although we may not always be able to make it work.
The hall is disabled friendly and has several parking bays reserved for access.

Eco Practices

A central basis of all of our retreats is honouring the earth. This means we hold a consistent gratitude in our hearts for the places we work and food that we eat, and do our best to take care of our planet; in both physical and energetic ways. Modelling and teaching this peaceful coexistence is inherent in all of our work, and connection to nature is always a big feature.
All of our crafts are remainder or recycled materials. Our food is vegetarian, ethically-sourced, and seasonal wherever possible.

Directions and Travel

Litton and Thorners Community Hall, Schoolhouse Lane, Litton Cheney, Dorset DT2 9AU. Half a mile from the A38 trunk road, in the northern margin of the Bride Valley, at the foot of the chalk scarp, within an area of outstanding natural beauty. Dorchester is around 10 miles from the venue and is accessible by train from Bristol and London Waterloo. We recommend a taxi from there and taxi costs can often be shared with other Wild Women.
