Description

This retreat is designed to support and inspire you as we make the transition from Winter to Spring. As women of different ages, experience and cultural backgrounds we endeavour to keep ourselves well in mind body and spirit, and sometimes we need the company of others to do that with.
Our, friendly, open facilitators will lead you through a series of practices to address each of these aspects of being so that you can recharge and recalibrate.
This retreat will deepen your connection with yourself and the other women who'll be making the journey with you. There'll be space for your heart to breathe! We'll share our hopes, fears, laughter, tears. You'll leave restored, lighter, yet more full than when you arrived, with tools to use in your daily life...and maybe some new friendships too?

Accessibility

There is one downstairs bedroom with a wet room which is accessible to those with limited mobility. It is a twin room but can only accommodate one wheelchair user.
The roundhouse is wheelchair accessible. It is reached via a gently upward-sloping bridle path.
Some activities on this retreat, such as sweat lodge and coastal walks, pose accessibility issues for those with limited mobility, injuries or certain health conditions.

Eco Practices

The venue utilises a range of eco practices in its commitment to environmental responsibility:
Biomass boiler supplies all heating and hot water on-site.
Eco friendly products are used wherever possible, including cleaning and laundry products as well as interior and exterior paints and finishing oils.
With the exception of the original main house, other buildings on the site have been restored using a straw, hemp, lime mix and reclaimed or sustainable timber.
Recycling is encouraged and bins for food waste and packaging are provided.
Solar panels provide some electricity, and the remainder comes from a green provider.
