We have several options to suit you and your stay at Bearfoot Breaks. Whether you’re looking to be the sole focus of attention, would like to train alongside a close friend, partner, family member or a couple of mates, we have a Bearfoot Bootcamp just for you, so why not take on the challenge!

Our entire ethos is to tailor your retreat to your needs. Push as hard as you want, take it slightly easier, we can cater for all preferences! Jake is your dedicated live in personal trainer and movement therapist, who will put you through your paces each day and encourage you to get outside and enjoy the beautiful French countryside. We'll mix in daily yoga sessions, breath work, meditation and promise to feed you delicious, healthy, organic meals each day.

One-to-one bootcamp

Training doesn't get more personal than this. Imagine having your own personal trainer on hand, all day, every day for up to 10 days. Jake will work with you to draw up a individual plan, based on your needs, your fitness goals and what you're trying to achieve. Then he'll help you smash those goals.

You can expect at least three training sessions a day, including anything from mobility, HIIT, circuits, TRX and running as well as movement classes, Tai Chi, meditation and 3 organic healthy meals. You can do yoga in the morning or the evening. You can explore the local countryside, the lakes and medieval villages. Jake's holistic approach to health and fitness will ensure you move, eat, sleep and relax. You'll take home not only an experience, but a set of tools to keep for life!

Small group bootcamps

Grab a ... friend, partner, daughter, son - train together!

They say ‘two’s company & three’s a crowd’, well we believe that ‘three’, could be the magic number. It’s always great to share experiences with your friends and what better way to tackle the workload, than a small group bootcamp with your best-buddies or partner in crime!

As a team, you can do as little, or as much as you want to, and we will ensure that your time spent here with us will be tailored to your needs. A bit of healthy competition never hurt anyone!

You can expect at least three training sessions a day, plus daily challenges, including anything from mobility, HIIT, circuits, TRX and running as well as movement classes, Tai Chi, meditation, yoga and 3 organic healthy meals. Phew!

Small group bootcamps

Eco Practices

We live in an old farmhouse in the French countryside. We grow our own vegetables in our kitchen garden and use the fruits from our fruit trees. We have our own little flock of chicken, who free range across our 3 acres and provide us delicious fresh eggs. All of our food waste is composted and re-used in the gardens. All of our cleaning products are planet friendly and we offer soaps and shampoos made by our neighbours using goats milk, honey and herbs. We buy from local producers and recycle all packaging that is not as eco-friendly as we'd like it to be.

Opening Times and Prices

We run retreats from May until September each year, making the most of the summer weather.

We offer 3, 5, 7 and 10 day packages. Catering for a maximum of 4 individuals or 6 people, if 3 couples! We will only take groups that know each other, so you won't be sharing with people you've never met!

3 full days, 4 nights - EUR650 per person
5 full days, 6 nights - EUR900 per person
7 full days, 8 nights - EUR1200 per person
10 full days, 11 nights - EUR1650 per person

The price per person will decrease if you are a small group!

Directions and Travel

Bearfoot Lodge is in the heart of the Limousin region of France, in the small hamlet of La Pierre de Neuvic. Approximately 40km east of Limoges, the capital, which has regular flights from the UK and daily train services from Paris, Lille and Toulouse.

BY PLANE: Limoges is the closest airport, being about a 40 minute drive away. There are regular flights operated by Ryanair from London Stansted, East Midlands, Manchester, Leeds Bradford and Bristol. British Airways also flies from London Gatwick in the summer.

BY TRAIN: Trains directly from many of the major French cities such as Bordeaux and Paris into Limoges.

All you need to do is get to Limoges, we'll do the rest and pick you up!
