Join Bournemouth Meditation for a weekend of rest, recharge and self-discovery to clear mind, body and spirit. An essential detox for 21st century living
An inspiring weekend exploring the healing powers of nature. Working with Oliver James, a rising star in the world of Breathwork, we will be learning simple techniques to quieten our minds, recharge our bodies and developing a gentle practice to use in our everyday-lives.
The retreat will be a rare opportunity to transport to a simpler time: to connect with ourselves and nature in the magical setting of a beautiful woodland in the heart of Wiltshire. Set within 70 acres of forest this will be a gentle introduction to experience living off-grid, free from phone reception, mains electricity and the distractions of contemporary living. We have a range of accommodation available to suit all budgets ranging from camping areas to a private room with ensuite bathroom.

Experience for yourself the healing power of nature through forest bathing. The health benefits of Shinrin Yoku (aka forest bathing) are renowned. Having been practiced for almost 50 years in Japan and even prescribed by doctors as part of their national health programme, we invite you to find out why everyone is turning to nature for health and wellbeing. We will be learning breath and mindfulness techniques to make the most of the mystical woodlands and supported to begin self-directed meditation for ourselves.
How do I calm my mind and reconnect to myself at any moment? We shall explore simple breathing techniques to relieve over-active thoughts and invigorate the body. We shall also begin to map out the techniques that are best for your needs. Once learnt, you will have the weekend to practice, both supported and self directed. Come with questions and leave with a fully functioning practice of your own to implement at home.
The art of rest is a beautiful thing! We are not talking about the "lazing in front of a television" kind of rest; we are interested in supporting a deeply restorative, cell-changing kind of whole-being restoration! The pressures of 21st Century living are such that it is easy to lose ourselves within the rush of it all. The retreat promises to offer you the chance to learn how to help your mind, body and spirit regroup and recharge. A deliciously restorative weekend to look after number one.
We have 3 environmentally sustainable accommodation options available for every budget and adventure level. Bring your own tent, share a room with other like minded retreat guests or enjoy your own ensuite bathroom surrounded by nature. Everyone has access to wood-fired showers and communal areas, compost toilets and a body-detoxing sauna.
Simple, wholesome and healthy. A variety of diet options available. Meals will be served both indoors and in the forest (weather pending).
