STEP INTO OUR OASIS
We connect people with nature and cultivate well-being through the facilitation of retreats, courses, events and workshops.
You’ll gain exclusive access to 21 comfortable rooms enveloped in rolling hills and beautiful natural landscapes, as well as fully equipped conference rooms, private bars and dining areas and extensive gardens.
We also offer a spa sauna, tranquil water features and access to enchanting woodland for walks, exercise and yoga.
High Trenhouse is a converted 18th century farmhouse and barns. We have one wheelchair accessible double room with ensuite shower room and toilet. The ground floor of the Bennett's building is fully accessible as are parts of North End. Accessibility is a work in progress so please contact us to get the latest updates. We will do all we can to facilitate your enjoyment of the entire site.
High Trenhouse is never going to be carbon neutral. The solid stone construction and windswept location mean there is only so much we can do but we are doing it!
Water:
Our water supply is from our own 125m deep borehole. The water is tested regularly for impurities and always meets the highest purity ratings. We just filter it and pipe it to your tap. You can taste the difference!
Recycling:
100% of our waste that can be recycled is recycled. Suitable food waste and even waste paper is composted to help our gardens maintain their lush verdant feel. Land fill is minimised and we prefer suppliers who deliver in recyclable and reusable packaging rather than plastic bags and boxes.
Local suppliers:
Wherever possible we source our produce from local suppliers.
High Trenhouse is open year round.
We have 21 bedrooms including 3 doubles, 4 double/twin, and 14 singles. All rooms are ensuite.
We pride ourselves on clear, transparent costs with no hidden fees or ‘extras’. Below you can find information on our occupancy and prices.
