Our in-house chef and nutritionist design the menu to ensure your meals leave you wanting more - for all the right reasons. For those who have not enjoyed plant-based food before, prepare to be amazed. The delicious culinary delights that await will leave you nourished and satisfied throughout your stay. As science continues to show that plant-based food can improve human and planetary health, only plant-based food will ever be served on our retreats as part of our commitment to improving your wellbeing and that of our planet.

For those who would like to learn more, a certified vegan nutritionist will also be available to discuss a plant-based diet with you during your stay.

If we can change our attitude, we can change our lives, no matter what life throws at us. A meditation series focused on reducing stress and anxiety will be at the heart of this retreat. You will leave empowered to deal with daily stress and able to live a life of calm.

After settling in, enjoy a relaxing sleep meditation to ease your mind and body into the slower pace of life for the weekend ahead. During your stay, you will experience explorative meditation sessions to begin the healing process. Yoga classes, where the teacher will provide both challenge and support, will stretch your body and open your mind.

Evenings offer a time to relax with the fire pit aglow, inviting you to let go of that which no longer serves you as you set intentions for life after the retreat.

We are facing a climate emergency. Temperatures are rising, ice caps are melting and urgent action must be taken in order to slow the harmful warming of our wonderful world.

Venue:
For this reason, our retreat venues have been chosen very carefully; for every booking we make, our venue hosts will donate to Rewilding Britain, supporting the restoration of Great Britain’s ecosystems and in turn drawing carbon back into the ground.

Plant-based dining:
Science is increasingly proving that plant-based food has the ability to heal both human and planetary health. For this reason, only plant-based food will be served at our retreat, reducing carbon emissions and helping reduce harm to our guests’ health, animals and the planet. Our in-house chef and nutritionist design a delicious menu.

Directions and Travel

The house is located in the village of Shocklach, near Malpas, Cheshire.

By train:
The best and most direct train stations are Chester and Crewe, with regular train services to London and the rest of the UK. The house is approximately a 30-45 minute taxi ride from each station respectively.

If you are arriving by train, I will be more than happy to organise a taxi for you and other guests arriving at a similar time - just let me know if I can help (please note: transport is not included in the price).

By car:
The property is 30 minutes from Chester, an hour and 20 minute drive to central Manchester or Liverpool and an hour from central Birmingham.

By air:
The nearest airports are Manchester and Liverpool John Lennon, a one hour drive away.
