A luxurious 5 day residential retreat hosted by Mayu Retreats in a vast, beautiful country house, nestled in the North Norfolk countryside.
Mayu Retreats combines personalised nutrition expertise provided by a Registered Nutritional Therapist, exquisite, nutritionally balanced culinary delights by in house private chef and excellence in hospitality by a couple who have over 18 years experience working for UNHW clients.
The key focus is Personalised Nutrition & gut health with each guest having a 1:1 consultation. All meals will be personalised as necessary.
Each day will start with yoga with additional classes some afternoons & free time to enjoy the tennis court, expansive gardens and house or pool (when in season).

Your health & wellbeing are our entire focus

You will have a zoom consultation before your arrival, a 1:1 consultation during your stay and a further follow up in the weeks following. You will be provided with a nutritional program and supplement plan, if appropriate.
We can organise functional testing and arrange a supplement order for you, so you can start your program as soon as possible.
All meals are nutritionally balanced with a focus on gut health and appropriate supplements are provided throughout.
Pamela is a qualified, registered Nutritional Therapist & Nutrition Consultant with over 13 years experience. Her main area of interest is gut health and the microbiome. She is working towards a Research MSc, focusing on the relationship between out gut bacteria and inflammatory conditions.

Mealtimes are an occasion at MAYU

The dining table is set, the flowers poised and the candles flicker, casting a delicate shadow on the silver and glassware.
We like to create the perfect ambience to delight all your senses.
Evening meals begin early to extend the overnight fasting period. We start with drinks and canapes in front of a roaring fire or the sun drenched terrace in warmer months. The meal comprises of 3 carefully created and beautifully presented courses to nourish and improve your microbiome.
Breakfast and lunches are served in the beautiful, relaxed and sociable kitchen/diner. These are timed around your daily schedule and are all nutritionally balanced and gut bug pleasing!
Water, teas and snacks are always available.

Ease into a different pace

Each day begins with 1.5 hrs yoga practice with one of our experienced teachers. All with an extended savasana for ultimate relaxation.
Pilates and meditation are additional afternoon classes on some days. Additional private classes can also be arranged. The yoga studio is available to you all day.
The gardens boast a tennis court and pool (in season) and have sweeping walkways, hidden benches and a large terrace providing plenty of space to roam and relax.
We are surrounded by beautiful countryside walks and a short drive to the coast if you want to venture further afield and explore.

Flawless, generous hospitality

The house provides plenty of space to relax into your retreat experience. The light drenched lounge with high ceilings and open fire is laden with flowers, blankets and carefully selected books and magazines is a haven to retreat to and catch up on reading during any free time, as is the cosy snug and cinema room next door.
Each bedroom is tastefully decorated providing light, airy and comfortable accommodation for your stay. Most rooms have ensuites so you can indulge in warm, oil infused baths or invigorating showers.
We invite guests to choose one of our beautiful kimono gowns for their stay and you will find slippers in your room.
Each evening we will provide an itinerary and an indulgent little self care treat to add to your retreat routine.

Im afraid the house provides no accommodation on the ground floor. Im very sorry. We are in the process of securing further houses that can accommodate everyone.

Nearest station is Kings Lynn which is approx 40 minutes drive. Trains come hourly from London, Cambridge & Ely. Connections North, West & east can be made from Ely.
There are taxis outside the station or we are very happy to organise you a transfer.
