Secret Spirits aims to beat depression so that it never comes back. We offer a week long programme and then a full year of support afterwards of weekly Skype meetings. We foster regular spiritual exercise incorporating Discussion, Mindfulness, Meditation and Yoga. We offer life enhancement coaching anchored in behavioural science. The results are immediately uplifting and transform your well-being.

On Your Course We Will:
Practice a spiritual exercise that gives you the power to overcome your depression.
Support you to find your best path with life coaching and mindfulness sessions
Offer you a setting for recovery in a homely country house in beautiful Scotland.
Make you feel taken care of, comforted and inspired with massage, yoga, good food, simple singing, art for everyone and walks in nature.
Offer you a Secret Spirit’s pledge that you will have transformed your depression as long as you keep to your daily spiritual exercise

After Your Course We Will:
Support your recovery by setting you up with weekly Skype conference sessions for a year with course leader Kit Fraser and fellow course members.
Set up a buddy system for you with a fellow course member.

Poor mental health can be triggered or worsened by a huge range of factors. But there is one underlying factor which forms the foundation for everything else, yet is often ignored. It is spirituality. We are referring to the sense of connection you have with the world around you and how you find meaning in your life. We at Secret Spirits work with you to transform this part of yourself.

Nature, Yoga, Mindfulness life coaching, Shiatsu

The programme offers spiritual exercise morning work and mindfulness life coaching in the afternoons. There is massage and Zen Yoga practice. Each day there are opportunities for hill walking, walking on beaches and around burns and rivers in the Highlands. The programme is life changing and intensive but throughout the week there will be time for time to yourself.

Kit Fraser, founder of Secret Spirits, is experienced in conducting the courses and Secret Spirit meetings in groups and one to one. He is the author of spiritual self help books including The Joy of Talk and How To Be Happy (not easy). Amanda Rodgers is practices in Chinese Massage. Fiona MacAulay will conduct life enhancement coaching and Mindfulness meditations grounded in the latest neuroscience research. Fiona leads Highland Trauma Services. Qualifications include: Mindfulness coach, CBT therapy, Trauma Therapy. Fiona has extensive experience in mental health. Denise Davis is a Zen yoga teacher.

Secret Spirits Venue

Eighteenth-century Kingillie House has a lot of atmosphere. A much-loved, south-facing country house, its lawns are enclosed by mature trees and surrounded by fields with the magnificent Beauly Firth in the distance. It has a Victorian dining room and spacious but homely kitchen-sitting room with Aga and gas oven/hob. It has treatment rooms that are comfortable and light. Course members relax easily in this homely house.
