Turkey's longest established retreat centre, located in a secluded mountain valley less than fifteen minutes from Turkey's famous Turquoise Coast and only half an hour from Dalaman airport. Surrounded by stately pine forests with comfortable, well appointed yurt accommodation it nestles amidst extensive olive and fig groves, an oasis of peace in beautiful natural surroundings. Simple and rustic, yet providing well maintained facilities, including immaculate shared bathrooms. The combination of stunning unspoiled location, natural stone swimming pool, spacious and fully equipped yoga shala, comfortable accommodation, welcoming experienced staff and legendary food creates an experience for which teachers and guests have been returning year after year since 1993.
The spacious yoga shala has room for up to twenty-eight to practice and is fully equipped with mats, belts, blocks, bolsters and blankets.
Teachers invited to book this venue, please get in touch for more information, availability and prices.
It’s a fifteen-minute drive to the sea and the resort of Göcek with its seafront cafes and shops.
The venue can accommodate up to a maximum of thirty in twin, triple and single bed yurts, with plenty of showers and loos in the spotless shared bathroom facilities. See the stars from your bed at night through the ‘eye of heaven’ at the apex of the yurts.
The natural stone swimming pool and a ‘kosk’ (traditional Turkish ‘treehouse’), are perfect spaces to relax in your free time.
Excursions can be arranged, including the ‘famous’ Huzur Vadisi boat trip for swimming with lunch aboard, sailing around the beautiful bays and islands of Göcek. The area also has lovely mountain and forest walks, with far reaching views of the coast. Shopping or sightseeing trips can also be arranged, as can a trip to the Turkish baths.
Food makes an important contribution to the enjoyment of your yoga holiday and the meals at our venues share the same influences of delicious and healthy Mediterranean cuisine…. fresh, locally sourced and seasonal produce, olive oil, fresh vegetables, salads, pulses, pasta, rice, cheeses, yogurt and egg dishes are served buffet style with plenty of choice, with fruit, muesli, preserves, cheese, eggs, olives and homemade bread for breakfast.
Vegetarian by default, fish, chicken or meat dishes can be provided once or twice in the week if requested.
Some special diets can be accommodated, but please check with us first. The Huzur Vadisi cookbook is available on Amazon.

The transfer to Huzur Vadisi is 30 minutes. We can arrange transfers for you.
