Client Terms
This is a short summary of the main points for anybody who advertises with us. It is not the full agreement.
What we are
We are an advertising directory. When a guest books with you, the contract is between you and them. We are never part of it and we do not take responsibility for the retreat itself. On a paid listing there are no booking fees and no commission. You keep what you charge and we never hold your money.
Your listing
You supply your own photographs and wording, at your own cost. You keep ownership of them and you give us permission to show them. You are responsible for keeping them accurate, lawful and up to date.
You must own the photographs you upload, or have permission to use them. That includes permission from anyone in the picture. We do not check them. If somebody says a photograph is theirs, it is your responsibility and you cover our costs.
We reserve the right to decide what appears on the website. We can take a listing down if it is not paid for, or if it breaks these terms.
Paying
Payment is in advance, by card on the site or if agreed in advance by invoice. The price you see is the total. It includes VAT. Your listing goes live once it is paid for. Prices are on the packages page.
How long your advertising lasts
Advertise a place. An annual listing is valid for and stays on the website for twelve months. Renewing your listing will keep it on the website.
Advertise a date led retreat, event or workshop. The advert comes off when the retreat starts, or when the advertising runs out, whichever comes first. Credits bought are valid for 12 months from the day you buy them. Check the name and the dates before you send it to us. They are fixed once it is with us. We may charge the current price of an event listing to change them. All purchased credits must be used within 12 months, advert start dates must fall within this time. Credits cannot carry forward to the following 12 month period.
Apply for a free listing. There is no fee. A free listing shows your name, one photograph, your description and an enquiry button, and it sits below every paid listing.
Retreat for sale add-on. This marks one of your retreats as for sale. It must be renewed on a yearly basis.
What we do and do not promise
We will show your listing and pass on enquiries with reasonable care. We cannot promise any number of enquiries or bookings. We are not responsible if your listing does not bring you business.
Ending it
Either of us can end the agreement. We can end it straight away if a listing damages our reputation. When it ends, your listing comes off the website.
What you have paid is not refunded. You buy advertising for a fixed length of time. If you change your mind, we cannot give the money back.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
The full terms
The full terms are on our directory listing terms page. They are also sent invoices. Where this summary and the full terms disagree, the full terms are the ones that count and supersede any previous agreement. It is your responsibility to check the full terms on a regular basis.
